The Point Force Press - MAY 2026

May rolls around and winter begins to roll in, but Point Force Group continues to see considerable growth, including more new additions to our operations teams across multiple divisions and states. As we move ever close to the end of the financial year, here is a round up of what has been going on.

This month we sat down with Rory. We discussed his transition to the recruitment team from the field & the importance of understanding every clients individual needs.
How long have you worked in this industry, and what drew you to it?
I have been in construction for the past 6 years in Australia. I started off as a labourer working for multiple companies while traveling and living in the Gold Coast, Sydney, Cairns & Melbourne. I joined Point Force Group as a labourer in 2022, which then led to my current role as a recruitment consultant.
What do you find most rewarding about your role at Point Force Group?
One of the most rewarding parts of this role has been building meaningful relationships with both our staff and clients. I'm lucky to work alongside a talented team, both in the office and out in the field, and together we've been part of some truly great projects across Australia. Being able to contribute to growing the Point Force Group brand and seeing it reach new audiences is something I'm really proud of.
What does a strong and successful client partnership look like to you?
To me, a strong client partnership starts with truly understanding the unique needs of each job site we support. It's not a one-size-fits-all approach and every client has different requirements, and our job is to listen, adapt, and make sure we're consistently delivering the right people for the right roles.
From there, it's about momentum. A successful partnership means we're not just meeting expectations but actively pushing projects forward and anticipating what's needed next. Underpinning all of that is a dual responsibility of ensuring our clients are satisfied with the staff we place, while also making sure those staff feel genuinely valued. When both sides of that relationship are in alignment, everything else follows.
Why is now an exciting time to be In the Victorian construction industry?
Right now, Melbourne feels like one big construction site, but in a good way. Projects are emerging all across the city and suburbs, covering a vast range of work. From breathing new life into iconic heritage buildings, delivering high-spec modern builds that redefine what's technically possible, and everything in between. The diversity alone makes this an incredible time to be in the industry.
Outside of work, what are a few things people might not know about you?
I hunt monsters, ghosts & ghouls with my friends and my dog. I also love catching up on my hobbies such as socialising, music, games and anything that involves a good laugh. There is always a good event or shindig to attend in Melbourne so I do my best to take part in as much as I can.
As the business continues to go from strength to strength, April has been another exciting month of growth, bringing with it a fresh wave of talent joining the team. Each new addition reflects our commitment to building a team that can meet the demands of an ever-expanding client base, and we're proud to be attracting people who share our drive and passion for delivering great results. We're thrilled to welcome our newest team members and look forward to the energy and expertise they bring as we head into the months ahead.

Euan brings a well-rounded skill set to the Point Force Group team, combining a proven background in client-oriented roles with direct site experience gained through his time with Point Force Labour. His practical industry knowledge and sound business acumen make him a natural fit as Client Account Manager, a role he has already taken on with confidence, building strong client relationships and delivering consistent results across the region. Good to have you on board Euan.
Each month we take a moment to recognise the individuals who have gone above and beyond for their team, their clients, and the people they work alongside every day. We are proud to shine a spotlight on members of the Point Force team who have consistently demonstrated exactly what it means to represent this company at its best.

Andrew is consistently putting in the effort and takes real pride in his work. What stands out most is his initiative; he independently obtained his hoist ticket, showing a genuine commitment to growing in the construction industry.
Andrew is always looking to up-skill, expand his knowledge, and improve on the job. That level of drive and dedication does not go unnoticed. We respect the work ethic he brings every day. Congratulations Andrew!

Congratulations to Claire, our April Team Member of the Month! Having joined the team not too long ago, Claire wasted no time making her mark. She proved herself a quick learner from the off and before long stepped up to take on the challenge of becoming a ute driver, cementing herself as an important part of the team in the process.
Claire is never one to shy away from a challenge or an opportunity to grow, and it is exactly that attitude that makes her such a valued member of the team. Keep it up, Claire!
